Ok, so my friend from school told me about a spinning class that is being offered at our university. My first thoughts, "it's free? Ok, in there!". . . my thoughts waking up "what in the world am I about to get myself into". Lol! We shall see how this all works out. From tv and Youtube (lol), spinning classes look intense! However, I do want to get some variety in my workout. I usually just go to my gym and do the same old routine. And I did make a post about being motivated soooo spinning should be a nice difference! Something new, something new! Here I go!
Post-spinning (2:00pm):
I survived! Doesn't matter that I got there 10 minutes late lol (parking on campus is always iffy). Anywho, before I entered the class the cleaning ladies wished me luck, that should of been a sign! The classs started at 12:15pm (aka 12:25pm for me). I parked a little distance from the gym, so I alternated between jogging and walking to get there and warm up a bit.
The instructor was really kind and inspired us to want to keep going. She even complimented me on my form and jumps =). We did the whole shebang: seated flat, standing climbs, jumps, etc with various resistance. However, I did feel nausea while doing the jumps (thanks to eating my good ole Greek yogurt 2 hours prior) but I did stick it out until the end. Heart rate was on HIGH and the sweat was pouring. Be sure to bring a towel and of course, water. The afterwards: my legs felt like jello and wobbly lol. Similar to when you first start using the treadmill, that sort of thing. I told my friend that I wouldn't go back, BUTTT I think I will, minus the Chobani lol.
